Rollerball Pens

Rollerball pens are a step up from the more common ballpoint pen. They have an excellent writing feel and write cleanly. A downside is that they are only available as capped pens to prevent the ink from drying out. 

There are a wide variety of refills available on the market. My current favorite is the Schmidt 5888 refill.
