Ballpoint pens are the most common type of pen. Most disposable, office-style pens are ballpoints.

I make pens that have two styles of refill. The product page for each pen will tell you which type you'll need to purchase once you use up the included refill.

Cross-style refills are common in the smaller form-factor pens. Refills are available in a variety of colors. My current favorite is Jaymo's 1mm Medium Tip refill.

Parker-style refills are a step up in quality and variety. Refills are available in many colors as well as ink styles. My current favorite are these Parker Gel Refills
